MY STORY
My own journey has shaped the way I approach this work. In 2006, my family and I relocated from our longtime home in California to North Carolina.
Leaving behind everything familiar, managing countless details, and adjusting to a new community gave me firsthand experience with the challenges of a major move.
Not long after, I helped both my grandmother and my mother make their own cross-country transitions.

Their moves were even more emotionally complex, having spent nearly their entire lives in California. Witnessing their struggles opened my eyes to the unique needs of older adults navigating similar transitions.
Why I Do This Work
"Moving is more than just a change of address—it’s a significant life transition, often filled with both emotional and logistical challenges, especially for older adults. I’ve dedicated my career to this work because it’s meaningful and deeply rewarding. Supporting seniors through these complex moves allows me to combine my professional expertise with my personal values—and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Today, I guide seniors and their families through every stage of the process. Some are preparing to move soon; others are exploring the idea and want to take small, intentional steps toward a future transition.
As a Certified Senior Downsizing Coach, I provide guidance, education, and reassurance—regardless of where someone is on their journey.
